-The o.C.-
-One Tree Hill-
-Everwood-
-Roswell-
-Heroes-
-Smallville-
and Tell me why i'm such a couch potato?
and tell me why i cant get thc o.c. out of my head even after its ended.
the feeling it evokes, sun, sand, beach, money, hunks, babes, brawls, relationships, treachery, pain, loss, the paltry figments of an average Californian teen life is my bliss, my nirvana.
lets attempt a link with singapore. simply futile.and it's not hard to tell why, bad beach, borin' night life, totally unsophisticated people, no picturesque scenery, etc...
then there comes everwood. albeit an old tv show, it preserves the very elements of a close-knit society to stunning authenticity. It explores the depth of individuals, the different perspectives of life and career and familial relationships. and what Singapore has to provide is a rather superficial sense of kinship between citizens.everwood gives a really cool fuzzy feeling. indescribable.
and lets not leave out One Tree Hill which i found accidentally. the main focus lies on identity.multitudinous scope of characters are the proceedings with a completely arabesque series of relationships and connections.the depth explored and the uniquiness of the plots are refreshing.
i swear im out of singapore once i have the chance. =/
